Halsey Mabry is an OGO!

Halsey is the principal at St. Francis Seraph grade school, an inner-city Catholic school in the Over-The-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati. The vast majority of his kids are from low-income homes and disadvantaged in some way (hungry even), but you’d never know it walking through his school!

The teachers are committed, and the students excited to be there. They work hard and are respectful. All because of Halsey. He accepts every student who walks through his doors to apply, but expects nothing but the best of them in return. One of his goals is to make sure his students grow to “believe in themselves as much as I believe in them.”

It is unbelievable to see what he has done for that school, that faculty, that neighborhood — those kids — in the three years he has been principal. Halsey is an OGO, for sure.
